Base Camps and Spike Camps

We use three main Base Camps for our hunting in the Spring and Fall. All the base camps have separate cabins for the hunters and guides. Our Sheep Base camp and Highway Base camp also feature showers. In addition, we have small gas powered generators at these camps for the washing machines and for charging batteries.

Our Sheep Base Camp on Tchawsahmon Lake (pronounced Tas-a-mone) is accessible only by air or horseback. We also have a Base Camp along on the Alaska Highway.

At our spike camps you will either stay in a small cabin or set up a wall tent. The wall tents are equipped with wood stoves to keep you warm and dry.

For safety we have satellite phones at our base camps. The guides also pack portable radio phones in case of an emergency while out at any of the spike camps.
